THE SUTHERLAND KING
My dark tale of shortbread "The Sutherland King" got into the first round of the the British Short Screenplay Competition. The screenplay was adapted from my short story published in the anthology "Read by Dawn" by Bloody Books. Available on Amazon and at Waterstones.

RANFURLY REVIEW
Two of my short stories are published in issue 3 of the e-magazine The Ranfurly Review. The Book of Skin was inspired by a trip to Surgeon's Hall, Edinburgh. Rubber Up Ducky was inspired by my condom dispensor videosculpture Kitschen.

STARS OF LOVE
Stars of Love is now on Days Like This ; an exciting new project run by Scottish Book Trust in partnership with BBC Radio Scotland. It's a short story based on cleaning up a cave after making the Rionnagan Gaoil (Stars of Love) video. The video eventually got me onto the Electronic Imaging Post Gard at Duncan of Jordstone College of Art, Dundee.
ANIMATION CLASS
I started up a new Animation class at Leith Academy on 22nd Sept. It is a mixture of hands on traditional claymation and computer animation.
TAFFA TASSEOMANCER
Taffa (Tasseomancing And Future Forecasting Avatar) is a digital tea lady. Let her read your future in your tea leaves. Funded through the Pocketshorts scheme Taffa Tasseomancer was launched this June at EIFF 2008.

GAMERZ has a general release at Cineworld cinemas in Scotland from February 22, 2008. It's a wonderful gentle comedy based on the antics of a group of Role Playing Gamers. I worked as a Rotoscoper on the animation sequences.
RHINESTONE HEARTS
Kitsch horror Rhinestone Hearts was shortlisted for the Metro/List short film competition. The script didn't win but all shortlisted writers went on Adrian Mead's excellent scriptwriters course.

Chapter 4 for BBC Somerset's short story competition was broadcast on BBC Somerset.
BBC 7

Episode 9 accepted for BBC 7 's Chain Gang competition. Robert Shearman (writer of recent "Dalek" episode for Doctor Who) wrote the initial episode.
